La Bouche Rouge is turning the beauty industry on its head, changing traditional processing and packaging to create the world's first refillable vegan lipsticks.

Concerned that the cosmetics industry is the second biggest polluter of the environment, and that 83% of the Earth's water is filled with plastic, Nicolas Gerlier and creative director Ezra Petronio came up with the idea of creating long-lasting vegan and leather cases to hold their collection of nourishing, color-rich lipsticks. Each is formulated without beeswax, animal fat, parabens or kerosene, and the cruelty-free range encompasses explosive reds, cheerful pinks and foolproof neutrals for all skin tones, leaving you confident that beauty and responsibility can go hand in hand.
